  • At Cosy Koalas Nursery, we welcome children from 6 months to 5 years, with dedicated spaces designed for each stage of development. From our youngest babies to our pre-schoolers, every child is supported with age-appropriate activities that encourage confidence, curiosity, and independence as they grow.

  • We offer both full-day childcare and part-time sessions, giving families the flexibility they need. Whether you require regular weekly care or a more tailored schedule, we work closely with you to find the best fit for your routine.

  • Our approach is rooted in play-based learning, where children learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. We create a calm, engaging environment that supports communication, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.

  • Every child is unique, and we celebrate that. With small group sizes and attentive, qualified practitioners, we take time to understand each child’s interests, needs, and development, offering personalised care and encouragement every step of the way.

  • Eligible families can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week for children aged 9 months to school age. All children aged 3–4 years are also entitled to funded hours, with additional support available for working families.

  • Yes, at Cosy Koalas Nursery, we offer flexible, all-year-round (stretched) funding, allowing hours to be spread across 51 weeks for more consistent childcare and support.

  • We are currently planning to open before the end of the year, with a target of September. We’ll be sharing updates as we get closer, so please feel free to get in touch or follow along for the latest news.

  • We’re currently finalising the finer details of our contracts, so we’re not able to share the exact address just yet. However, our nursery will be within walking distance of Hornsea village (HU18), making it convenient for local families.

  • Yes! We are planning to include a calming and engaging sensory space within our nursery to support children’s development and wellbeing.

    This space will be open to the public through a booking system, with an additional hourly cost. It’s something we’re incredibly excited about and can’t wait to share with our community.
